Information on the protection of individuals
with regard to the processing of personal data
(General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679, art.13)
The processing of personal data provided by the user for registration on the Fast It portal will be based on the principles of lawfulness, correctness and transparency to protect the fundamental rights and freedoms of individuals. The Fast It portal allows Italian citizens residing abroad to request to their diplomatic mission or consular post, the registration in the Registry of Italians Resident Abroad (AIRE), communicate the change in residence address, send their application registration in the electoral lists in case of elections for the Committees of Italians Abroad (Comites) and to send, in the consular districts where it is allowed, civil status documents.
For this purpose, the following information is provided:
1. The personal data holder is the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) which operates, in this specific case, through the Office VIII of the DGAI (telephone: 0636911, peo: dgai-08@esteri.it, pec: dgai08.pec@cert.esteri.it).
2. For queries or complaints regarding privacy, the user can contact the Personal Data Protection Officer (RPD) of MAECI: telephone +39 06 36911 (switchboard), peo: rpd@esteri.it, pec: rpd@cert.esteri.it.
3. The requested personal data are required to sign up on the portal and take advantage of the digital consular services available. qui.
4. Personal data are provided on a voluntary basis, but in case of refusal it will not be possible to create any account on Fast It.
5. The data processing, carried out by personnel specifically appointed by MAECI, will be done in a mixed, manual and automated manner.
6. The data will not be disclosed to third parties.
7. The user can cancel his registration on the portal at any time. After 10 years without any access, registration on the portal and past appointments will be automatically canceled from the system.
8. The data will be kept until the user decides to delete his account on Fast It, or until condition for cancellation by office will occur.
9. By operating on the menu under 'account' section, the user can independently access his personal data and, if necessary, correct them, as well as delete his registration. In case of difficulty, the user can request assistance from the structure indicated in point 1, informing the MAECI DPO at the same time.
10. If you believe that your privacy rights have been violated, you can file a complaint with the MAECI DPO.
